DESKTOP PUBLISHING: Menu Project Create a dining menu for a theme restaurant. You may use the items listed below or come up with your own (minimum of 5 items per category, the more items you have the more believable your menu will appear) but you will have to alter the names of the items to reflect your theme. Your mission is to come up with descriptions and creative names for the food items. For example, if I used a movie theme, I might have the Big Kahuna Burger (from Pulp Ficition) as the creative name and "Half pound hamburger loaded with tomato, pickles, onions, and our special sauce served with tasty curly fries." as the description. Your creativity, orginality, and dedication to making your menu believable weigh heavily on this assignment. Get online, find some menus that you can use as models. We all look at menus whenever we go to a restaurant but coming up with everything off the top of your head will prove to be a challenge. You will be using Publisher to create your menu. You may use a template from the menu category but you are not required to. The way that it folds is up to you (tri-fold or bi-fold). Your menu will be graded based on originality, creativity, and accuracy. You may print out your menu if you want a copy of it when done.
